Alleviate blight and abate nuisance properties by:

  • Leveraging resources, and collaborating with City departments and local groups towards creation of new ordinances and enforcement of existing initiatives

Preserve the historic character of Northside by:

  • Respecting the comprehensive zoning guide lines expressed in the Northside Land Use Plan
  • Coordinating new structures to complement surrounding historic architecture
  • Working with City departments and local organizations towards preservation and rehabilitation of historic buildings in the main business district

Support business development by:

  • Working with City departments, developers and local organizations on revitalization and development plans for the main business district and business corridors
