Increase home ownership by offering a variety of moderately priced and market-rate housing choices to a diverse population through:

  • Rehabilitation of existing homes
  • New construction

Adhere to energy efficient and environmentally conscientious building practices by:

  • Demolishing hazardous properties
  • Creating healthy homes through abatement of hazardous materials during rehabilitation 
  • Planting street trees in Project areas

Work with local and state government to adopt polices that protect homeowners

Alleviate blight and abate nuisance properties by:

  • Leveraging resources, and collaborating with City departments and local groups towards creation of new ordinances and enforcement of existing initiatives

Preserve the historic character of Northside by:

  • Adhering to and striving to accomplish goals as defined in the Northside Land Use Plan
  • Coordinating new structures to complement surrounding historic architecture
  • Working with City departments, the Port Authority of Greater Cincinnati, and local organizations towards preservation and rehabilitation of historic buildings in the main business district

Support business development by:

  • Working with City departments, the Port Authority of Greater Cincinnati, developers and local organizations on revitalization and development plans for the main business district and business corridors
